We are a not-for-profit arts organization located in the Federal Building in Uptown Greenwood.  February 2012 marked our sixth year in this wonderful facility. In 2009, we received the 2008 Elizabeth O'Neill Verner Governor's Award for the Arts in recognition of outstanding contributions to the arts in South Carolina.     Mission Statement The Arts Center of Greenwood County is committed to enhancing the quality of life through the arts for area residents and visitors.

We strive:

(1) To Promote and provide opportunities for Local and Regional Artists

(2) To offer quality Arts Education Experiences

(3) To use art as an example of the Diversity of our Community

(4) To make a unique arts environment available for Public and Private Events

(5) To add to the Economic Vitality of the Uptown and Greenwood County
